Sebastian Hess (Wonderland Records) och Henrik Wittgren (Electropolis, Plasticity, Synthbar, Saturn) har tillsammans bildat klubben Depeche Mode Party. Tidigare har de haft ett antal klubbkvällar under detta namn, där det har spelats mestadels DM, och syntharna har färdats från andra orter för denna tillställning. Senast hade de ett liveband som spelade DM-covers och en middagssittning med italiensk buffé, vilket är en kul krydda på en klubbkväll.

Tillsammans med PK Musik har de nu satsat stort och med hela deras hjärtan på att få till två grymma festivaldagar i elektroniska beats, och för att göra det extra Depeche Mode-igt har de bjudit in en fd medlem av bandet till festivalen, Alan Wilder. Alan har producerat en film, och få ställen har utvalts att få en förhandsvisning. Ett av detta ställen är Göteborg, som i samarbete med Electronic Summer kommer att ha en förhandsvisning på Bio Roy. Köper man en biljett till ES får man ett billigare pris på biovisningen. Man får även sin biljett signerad av självaste Alan. Alan kommer även att gästa festivalen under lördagen, en Q&A + Signing Session, alltså en signering + "fråga & svara"-stund. Så är du en inbiten Depeche-fan så är detta julafton för dig! 

2012-07-01:

We are extremely proud to announce that Alan Wilder will be a part of the Electronic Summer festival. On Saturday the 1st of September we will be the first to offer a screening of Recoils film "A Strange Hour In Budapest" complete with a Q&A with Alan at the cinema as well as a more extensive Q&A and signing session at the festival arena Brewhouse. The screening will take place at the classic cinema Bio Roy in Gothenburg. Cinema opens 13:00 and film starts 14:00. Q&A at Brewhouse will start 16:30.

As attendance is strictly limited and location is Bio Roy, the cinema tickets are sold separately from Electronic Summer tickets. Holders of Electronic Summer-tickets only pay 120 SEK for the cinema ticket (Regular price 170 SEK) and everyone attendning the screening gets a unique ticket signed by Alan.
